Tulsa, Okla. —
Tulsa police arrest a woman for driving high in a U-Haul, with her two-year-old child sitting by her side without a car seat.
Tulsa arrest report states 20-year-old Kanisha Owens was taken into custody around 8:45 p.m. Saturday evening.
TPD pulled the vehicle over near the 100 block of North Martin Luther King Boulevard.
An officer noticed the suspect had a slow speech pattern, droopy eyes and she smelled like marijuana. The report states the suspect also had issues answering questions.
Owens' child was sitting in a fold-up lawn chair in the cab of the U-Haul.
She was arrested on counts of child endangerment, DUI drugs and a child restraint violation.
