Someone really likes Thin Mints and Shortbreads.

Those are the cookies stolen from a South Carolina warehouse this week. A scout troop was in Spartanburg was planning to sell the cookies this Saturday in an event they call “Cookie Palooza.”

The cookies began filling the warehouse in mid-February and were to be distributed at the big celebration.

In all, over 5,000 boxes of the treats are missing leaving the Girl Scouts looking for answers and customers looking for their cookies.

There is a surveillance tape from the warehouse. It has been turned over to police in Spartanburg in an attempt to catch the cookie crooks.

Nearly 25% of all Girl Scout cookies sold are Thin Mints.
