Person dies following single-vehicle crash in Sand Springs

A person is dead, following a single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Sand Springs.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol say the incident happened near 177th West Avenue and 35th Street South.

The unidentified driver ran off the road and hit a tree.  It's believed the driver was going too fast.

Troopers don't believe alcohol played a part in the crash.

As of early Sunday morning, the driver's age also hasn't been released.
