People already camping outside stores for Black Friday

By Steve Berg

Not only did we find people on Wednesday who were already camped out in front of stores in anticipation of Black Friday sales, some of them informed us they had been there since Monday.

"I got here Monday night at 9:00 p.m.," said a man who was first in line outside the Best Buy store in Owasso.

He had his sights set on a Toshiba flat-screen TV.

He said he and his family members were taking shifts in front of the store, so they could give each other a break to enjoy Thanksgiving but still maintain their spot in line.

"We're kind of rotating it out," he said.  "That way we'll still all get to see each other during the holidays."

He said they've camped out in front of stores for several years now, and he says for whatever reason, there aren't as many campers this year.

"I'm surprised right now," he said.  "The guy that's in line, we were in line together last year, we do it every year, and we're surprised there's nobody here yet."
