Pedestrian hit by marked police car, pronounced dead at hospital

We've learned a 43-year-old pedestrian has died, after getting hit by a marked police car overnight.

Tulsa police say the incident happened around 1 a.m., near 61st and Lewis.

We're told two officers were traveling southbound, when the unidentified man walked in front of the car.   He was said to be wearing dark clothing and had just left the Mad Murphy's Bar.

The pedestrian was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

Police say the two officers involved in the fatal collision were not injured.

They were responding to an unknown call, when the incident happened.

So far, no names have been released.
