Oklahoma Olympic medals few and far between

Tulsa, Okla. —

Subtract the players from the Oklahoma City Thunder who were on the U.S. Men's Basketball squad, and it's hard to find many medals in the Olympics that have an Oklahoma connection.

Former Oklahoma State University wrestler Coleman Scott got a Bronze in the 132-lb. Freestyle Wrestling competition.

Tulsa Shock star Liz Cambage got a Bronze as a member of the Australian Women's Basketball Team.

Beyond that, former University of Oklahoma gymnasts Jake Dalton and Jonathan Horton made decent showings.

Dalton placed 5th in the floor exercise, and Horton got 6th on the high bar, an event where he got Silver in 2008, but no medals this time around.

OU Senior Brittany Borman was 15th in the Javelin, and fellow Sooner Senior Tia Brooks got 19th in the Shot Put.
