Washington, D.C. —

KRMG’s Washington Bureau has uncovered safety concerns at the building housing Oklahoma's senators’ offices on Capitol Hill.

A congressional safety inspection identified a list of *fire* hazards in the Russell Senate Office Building.

That's the location of offices for Senators Tom Coburn and Jim Inhofe.

Inspectors say the building needs more sprinklers, more fire doors and faster escape routes.

An anthrax attack in the weeks after the September 11th attacks proved senate office buildings are a target for terrorism.
