A new water park for kids of all ages has sprung up near the Jenks Aquarium, along the north side of the Creek Turnpike.

Dubbed "Extreme Water Park," it boasts several inflatable water features, including "Slidezilla," billed as the world's largest inflatable water slide.

Owner David Miller tells us "Slidezilla" is five stories tall and 175 feet long.

Miller tells KRMG the park has several pricing structures, based on the size and abilities of the child or adult.

A Toddler Pass runs $5 for the day, or $29.95 for the season, which runs through Labor Day.

A Junior Pass costs $10 for the day and $49.95 for the season.

And the Extreme Pass will set you back $18.95 for the day and $59.95 for the season.

Miller says the Toddler and Junior passes are based on size.

Children must be 36 inches tall to go on "Slidezilla."

Parents we spoke to at the park lauded the Extreme Summer Pass, saying they found the one-day pass expensive but the summer pass a good deal.

Susan Conley said she likes the park because the large water park in Tulsa forces parents to wear swimsuits, which she doesn't like to do.

Stacey Thomas added that she has a hard time keeping track of her young son at the Tulsa water park and she also liked the hours of the Extreme Water Park, which stays open until 9:00 p.m.

One parent expressed concerns about the park, however.

Lauren Burns, who is a Jenks resident and business owner, said her girls complained about the hot vinyl on the rides.

Burns said she thinks employees should be running water on the rides to keep them cool.

She was also worried that the park uses water straight from hoses without any additional chlorination.

Miller said the park offers group discounts and can also book private parties from 9:00 p.m. to midnight for companies, youth groups and the like.
