A Tulsa mother was taken into custody yesterday, after being accused of driving high with her daughter inside the vehicle.
We're told Chelsi Collins was pulled over near 41st and Sheridan. She's said to have driven across the white dividing line.
Deputies say when they approached Collins, they could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the Ford Focus. Plus, Collins had bloodshot, watery eyes.
She admitted to smoking marijuana with a friend just hours before getting behind the wheel with her daughter.
After being given a field sobriety test, Collins was arrested.
The child's grandmother was able to pick her up.
Collins faces multiple counts including DUI drugs and child endangerment. She also has prior convictions of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and false impersonation.
