Tulsa, Okla. —

The Tulsa State Fair kicks off two and a half days from now, but it sure doesn't look like it on the midway.

Right now there are just 2 rides on the midway, the Comet 2 roller coaster and the Skyscraper.

That is all about to change in a hurry.

Dozens of rides will begin arriving today.

Sarah Thompson with the Tulsa State Fair tells KRMG that each ride will be inspected by the State Labor Department before anyone is allowed to ride.

Thompson says the best way to save on rides is to purchase a Mega Ride Pass.

The cost through September 27 is $65.

After that, the price goes up to $70.

You can purchase your Mega Ride pass and have your photo ID made at Expo Ticket Xpress.

Sky Ride, Extreme Rides and Comet II are not included in the Mega Ride pass deal.
