Oklahoma City, Okla. —
We have new information this morning about a crime that shocked many Oklahomans in 2009, when 16YO Antwun Parker was shot dead when he and a 14YO accomplice with a gun robbed the Reliable Discount Pharmacy in OKC.
Now, we know that the mom of Antwun Parker, Cleta A. Jennings, is getting part of a $100,000 cash settlement as part of her wrongful death lawsuit against the pharmacy and the pharmacist who killed her son, Jerome Ersland.
Ersland is serving a life sentence after being found guilty of 1st degree murder last year for his role in shooting Antwun Parker.
Ersland, for his part, did not consent to the settlement and is appealing his conviction.
