Tulsa, Okla. —
A rape victim wakes up two days later after being punched unconscious.
Tulsa police say 49-year-old Burnis Howard confessed on Tuesday to raping a woman at an apartment near 11th and Yale back in February.
During an interview with officers, Howard also admitted to punching the woman in the face.
Police say she was taken in for a medical exam. The results were consistent with somebody who had been punched and raped.
Howard was taken to the Tulsa County Jail.
