Mayor Dewey Bartlett says revenue for mid-June to mid-July is flat compared to the same period last year.

Tulsa received $17,109,148.  That compares to $17,116,149 for the same period a year ago.

The collections were two percent below budget estimates for the month.

Mayor Bartlett says, “Although sales tax was below the expected growth for the month, the year-to-date numbers are slightly ahead of expectations by about $100,000. Compared to cities across the country, Tulsa is enduring the economic climate well and continuing to be very prudent in our spending.”

Use taxes received in July is $1,559,544, which is seven percent higher compared to $1,456,684 received the same period last year.
