TULSA, Okla —

Located near 61st and Peoria, Fairmont Terrace and St. Thomas Square are among the most crime-plagued low income housing complexes in Tulsa.

Six people have been wounded at Fairmont Terrace since August.

New management has fixed a security gate that was broken and they have reportedly hired another security guard.

But residents we spoke with complain that nothing really has changed.

They say it's still a dangerous place to live.

Down the street at St. Thomas Square, Keisha likens living there to a war zone.

“Basically every day here is a crime scene.  I wouldn’t recommend living here,” she says.

Keisha says she just got a job which means she’ll soon be able to move to a better and safer place.

I went to the offices at both Fairmont Terrace and St. Thomas Square to find out what was being down to improve security at both places.

I was told that a supervisor would get back to me.

As of late Tuesday, that hadn’t happened.
