A Winter Storm Warning and a blizzard warning is in effect around the Tulsa area and to the north and west.

News On 6 Chief Meteorologist Travis Meyer says the main part of the blizzard conditions that are expected would be up in the Osage County around Ponca City, also extending into Kansas and also out to the west toward Stillwater and back on toward Enid and to the northwest of Oklahoma City.

Here in the Tulsa area we're looking for cold rain, showers and thunderstorms as we go through Monday.

Temperatures will be holding steady or dropping off into the upper 30's late in the afternoon.

Rain will change to snow as we go through Monday night.

Rain could be heavy briefly at times during the afternoon, then snow could be briefly heavy as we go through Monday night into Tuesday morning.

Two to four inches of snow will be possible before the storm passes.

Look for roads to be in fairly bad shape by early Tuesday morning.
