Juveniles captured after two carjackings at gunpoint

Tulsa police recover two stolen vehicles, then capture three juvenile suspects after a pair of carjackings.

The suspects are accused of taking a woman's car about 11:09 p.m. Thursday at the Normandy Apartments near 6200 East 38th Street.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Ken Simpson said the suspects "demanded her car keys from her and then stole her Chevy Cobalt."

Police later found the car abandoned with a flat tire.

About 12:51 a.m., a pickup was stolen from its driver at the Eagle Point Apartments near 58oo East 72nd Street.

Police spotted the suspects driving the pickup back at the Normandy, but they bailed out of the truck and ran away.

They were captured at the original scene about 3 a.m. Friday.
