TULSA, Okla —

The Union High School student arrested on child pornography complaints this week is scheduled to make his first court appearance next Thursday.

Jonathan DeVito was arrested on complaints of manufacturing and distributing child pornography.

He is accused of taking a picture of a special needs student as that student was using the restroom.

A police report indicates the picture shows the student at the urinal with his pants and underwear around his ankles.

Police say DeVito then posted the picture on Twitter.

DeVito was released on $46,000 bond Thursday night.

School district officials, citing the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, declined to say whether DeVito will be allowed to return to class while awaiting charges.
