Tampa, Fla. —

Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin tells KRMG that she is scheduled to speak Tuesday evening at the Republican National Convention between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. Tulsa time.

She said she's looking forward to the opportunity to tell convention-goers and television-viewers more about Oklahoma's history and its people.

But she said that she and the Oklahoma delegation are thinking a lot about the people in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama who are now in the path of Tropical Storm Isaac.

"I know the governors of those states, and they're going to do their very, very best to take care of the people and the businesses, and we'll pray that the storm slows down and has less impact on that area," she said.

KRMG News asked Governor Fallin which of the speakers on the schedules she's most looking forward to hearing.

She said she's eager to hear Ann Romney, Chris Christie, and Marco Rubio.

She also said she thinks people at the convention are very interested in learning more about Vice-Presidential nominee Paul Ryan.
