Charlotte, N.C. —

If you watch any of the cable news channels, you'll likely see a lot of Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin over the next couple of days.

The Governor says she has a busy schedule at the Democratic National Convention as a surrogate campaigner for her fellow Republican Mitt Romney.

It started last night with mulitple interviews with various media outlet and was set to continue first thing this morning.

"We start very early with many interviews and appearances, continuing to talk about the contrast between President Obama and where Governor Romney would take this nation to get our economy back on track and reduce our deficit," Fallin said.

She said her group's mission is to provide a counterpoint to whatever messages are presented by the Democrats.

She emphasized her trip on behalf of Romney will not cost taxpayers anything.

"Governor Romney's campaign team is paying for my expenses to go on this campaign trip," Fallin said.
