Gas prices fall below $3/gallon in Tulsa

Latest gasoline price
Gasoline now around $2.99 a gallon

Just in time for the 4th of July holiday, gas prices are now down below $3.00 a gallon.

Drivers can find a regular gallon of gasoline at $2.99 at some stations.

That's down 6 cents from Friday morning.

A little more than a week ago gasoline went up 12 cents from $3.17 to $3.29 at most Tulsa retailers.

One year ago gas in Tulsa was $3.44 a gallon.

The highest price nationwide is still in California where drivers are paying $3.72 a gallon.
