Flu shots in short supply across Tulsa area

By Chris Cordt

TULSA, Okla. —

New flu numbers are expected to be released later this morning.

So far, two people have died in Tulsa County. Dozens more have been hospitalized.

Those numbers convinced Ginny Morgan to seek a flu shot.

Morgan says, "I started hearing all of the reports of the 18 children that have died. A couple of my friends have already got the flu. I'm kind of scared."

Morgan tells KRMG that it was tough finding a pharmacy or doctor that had the flu shot available.

Morgan says, "I called around to a couple of places and they were out. Walgreens was out and wasn't going to get anymore. My doctor was out and wasn't going to get anymore."

Click on the map below to find out which pharmacies still have the flu shot in stock.

KRMG and KRMG.com will bring you those updated flu numbers as soon as they are released.
