From the National Weather Service in Tulsa:

Flash Flood Watch in effect from monday afternoon through wednesday morning. 
 
The national weather service in tulsa has issued a
 
* flash flood watch for portions of east central oklahoma and northeast oklahoma...including the following areas...in east central oklahoma...okfuskee. in northeast oklahoma...craig...
mayes...nowata...okmulgee...rogers...tulsa...wagoner and washington.
 
* from monday afternoon through wednesday morning
 
* widespread rainfall amounts from 4 to 8 inches are expected across a good portion of eastern oklahoma and northwest arkansas. some isolated areas could receive rainfall amounts between a foot and 15 inches. widespread and potentially catastrophic areal flooding and river flooding is expected.
however...the potential for life-threatening flash flooding is also high...thus the flood watch will be changed to a flash flood watch. 
 

precautionary/preparedness actions... a flash flood watch means rapidly rising water or flooding is possible within the watch area.
