Female teacher accused of having sexual relationship with student

A teacher is in hot water, after a possible sexual relationship surfaces involving her and a 17-year-old student.

FOX25 News reports 43-year-old Kristen Betz was booked on Wednesday.

This comes after Choctaw school administrators became aware of the possible relationship.  The school then called Choctaw police, who turned the case over to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office.

It's believed Betz exchanged inappropriate text messages and had a sexual relationship with the student.  No word on how long the possible relationship had been going on or how school administrators found out about the relationship.

She faces a count of second-degree rape.
