Expensive highway construction project begins on Monday

Drivers who commute on Highway 169 south of Owasso should think about taking a different route.

A $45 million Highway 169 project is set to begin on Monday.

We're told four lanes will be expanded to six and eight bridges will be replaced in the corridor just south of Owasso.

Drivers will need to find another route in and out of Owasso until Spring 2017.  Otherwise, drivers should be prepared for long commutes.
