Emergency landing made after pilot locked out

An airport spokeswoman says the cockpit door malfunctioned and an emergency was declared.

Officials say the Delta Air Lines flight from Minneapolis made an emergency landing in Las Vegas yesterday with the co-pilot at the controls after the pilot was locked out of the cockpit.

A Delta spokeswoman says commercial aircraft can be landed with one pilot and Delta crews are trained for such situations.
