(Braggs, OK) – Authorities say the two paramedics involved in an accident that killed two people have been released from the hospital.

Troppers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say 37-year-old Karen Swimmer and 34-year-old Chance Bates were transporting a patient when a car crossed the center line.

It happened on State Highway 10A near Braggs Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators say there were three people in the car.

They say 32-year-old Carrie Cash and 6-year-old Holden Collins were killed.

A second passenger, 32-year-old Amanda Coffey-Collins, was taken to a Tulsa hospital in critical condition.

The paramedics were transporting 68-year-old Elsie Mullen. She was taken to Tulsa where she was listed in stable condition.

The highway was shut down for some time while the crash was investigated.
