BERRYHILL, Okla. —
Tulsa County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the 5400 block of S. 65th West Ave around 6:30 P.M. Monday to reports of a disturbance involving neighbors.
When deputies arrive, they found one man shot and the other claiming responsibility.
Deputies didn't reveal the victim's name but tell KRMG that he was taken to the hospital. The victim's injuries were said to be non-life threatening.
The apparent shooter was identified by deputies as James Sawyer. Deputies tell KRMG that he was cooperating with their investigation.
Sawyer was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County Jail. Deputies believe he will be charged with assault with a deadly weapon.
