TULSA, Okla. —

Tulsa cops are still waiting to see the bottom of a retention pond just north of 11th on Mingo. At the bottom they are hoping to locate a body that belongs to a foot found there Tuesday.

Public works crews had pumps going full blast Thursday and the water had receded about five feet. Detectives weren't on the scene but crime scene tape that spans the whole of the area around the pond was still up.

The plan is to scour the bottom of the pond for the body of a female-at least that's the likely sex of the foot found. It was in a state of decay.when a dog pulled it out of the pond. It was still inside a woman's tennis shoe.

A boat was being pulled up on to a trailer around 4 p.m. It was unclear what acrivity had taken place involving the craft.
