OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla —

A teenager who pleaded guilty to first degree murder in a bungled Oklahoma City pharmacy hold-up is now free.

Jevontai Ingram was 14 at the time of the May 19, 2009, stickup at the pharmacy where Jerome Ersland worked.

Ersland opened fire when the two masked teens entered the pharmacy.

Ersland, who insisted he was acting in self-defense, was eventually convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison for the shooting death of 16-year-old Antwun ``Speedy'' Parker.  Ingram pleaded guilty to first-degree murder for his friend's death and was sentenced as a youthful offender.

The 18-year-old says he wants to finish high school, go to college and eventually become a probation officer.
