College dean receives fake IDs meant for student named Dean

A Pennsylvania college student was just trying to do what thousands of college kids have done for decades, obtain a fake ID.

However, this student forgot one very important detail: his first name matched the title of a high level administrator.

So when Dean's fake IDs arrived from Guangzhou, China, they were delivered to the Dean of the college.

Police linked Dean's 8 fake IDs to four 18-year-old men, but didn't identify the men's names or the college they're attending.

"You can't make this up," Radnor Police Superintendent William Colarulo told the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The bigger worry, according to police, isn't a few college kids sneaking into bars but the realistic IDs being used for more serious crime.

"There are many people who use these to commit forgery or credit card fraud," police Lt. Chris Flanagan said.

The four teens won't face charges, but the school could face sanctions.

The boys punishments have been put into their parent's hands.
