Local vets tell KRMG they have amazing skills from their time in the military.

In civilian life, those assets can go unnoticed.

Saturday morning, the Oklahoma National Guard is bringing employers and soldiers together.

The career fair is Saturday at the Sand Springs Armed Forces Reserve Center.

The event is part of an effort to reduce the number of unemployed and underemployed National Guard soldiers and airmen.

More than 20 employers from across the state, with immediate job openings, are expected to participate.

Several company representatives will take the stage to describe their employment opportunities from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.

The building is at 7520 West 41st Street.
