Alcohol believed to be a factor in fatal crash
Police take 24-year-old Christopher Lange into custody.

Broken Arrow, Okla. —

Police arrest a man believed to be involved in the hit-and-run death of 43-year-old Robert Pitcher in Broken Arrow late Friday evening. 

The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. near Dogwood and 91st Street South.

An arrest report states 24-year-old Christopher Lange was taken into custody on Saturday for leaving the scene of a fatality crash. 

Police recovered his vehicle and it has damage consistent with the accident. 

The arrest report says alcohol is believed to be a factor in this case.

43-year-old Robert Pitcher was pronounced dead at the scene.
