Another Dollar General store in Tulsa is crime scene

Man got away with undetermined amount of cash

By Don Bishop

For the third time in three months a Tulsa Dollar General store is the scene of a crime.

One of the stores in west Tulsa was robbed back in September, then a woman noticed a possible cell phone camera set up by a Peeping Tom in another Dollar General store women's restroom.

But last night Tulsa Police Sergeant Mike Parsons tells us a man with a scraggly beard robbed the store at 401 South Lewis Avenue.

Parsons says, "The suspect fled on foot. He didn't hurt the clerk, didn't fire any rounds. He fled...northbound from the store."

He says the suspect was a black male, approximately six feet tall, 200 pounds, between the age of thirty and forty with a scraggly beard, wearing a black hooded jacket, baseball cap and blue jeans.

We're told the robber got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
