TULSA, Okla. —

When Oklahomans vote in next week's primary, they'll be giving "marching orders" to the state's 43 delegates to the Republican National Convention in August.

40 of those delegates haven't even been picked yet.

The three shoe-ins are the state's Republican National Committee members, including party chairman Matt Pinnell.

The rest are selected in congressional district conventions in March and April and then the state GOP convention in May.

25 are elected as at-large, statewide delegates.

Three are picked in each of five congressional district conventions for the other fifteen.

Forty alternates are also picked.

Since Oklahoma is a winner-take-all state, all delegates are bound to a candidate getting more than 50 percent of the vote.

If no one gets over 50 percent, the delegates are divided proportionally among the candidates.
