Another big change is coming to Green Country's traffic pattern next week.
It starts Monday at 7 a.m. when all eastbound lanes of Interstate 244 are shutdown at 129th East Avenue.
Kenna Mitchell with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation says eastbound traffic on 244 will be detoured south on Highway 169 to eastbound I-44 and will connect back up just past 129th East Avenue.
Local traffic will still be able to get up to 129th East Avenue, but through traffic will be detoured.
This latest detour will be in place until at least January.
The overall I-244 resurfacing project should be completed sometime in the spring.
