Tulsa, Okla. —

Update

Police are increasing their presence in north Tulsa after an apparent shooting spree Friday morning.

Police have labeled the overnight violence as 'unprecedented' in Tulsa after 5 people were shot and three of those victims died.

Here are the names of the three shooting victims killed in what investigators call an "unprecedented" shooting spree overnight.

Det. Sgt. Dave walker identifies the dead as:

  • Dannaer Fields B/F DOB 11-03-1962 killed at 1045 E 51PN
  • Bobby Clark B/M DOB 09-10-1957 killed at 300 W 63 SN
  • William Allen B/M DOB 04-13-1980 killed at 801 E 36 SN.

He says police now believe they may be looking for a white male in a white pickup.

All of the victims were on foot in the early morning hours.

Sgt. Walker says, "Asking the public to be aware of their safety when they're out and about.  Obviously these crimes happened early in the morning from midnight to three a.m. So, if you're out and about at those times and you're out on the street, you shouldn't stop for anybody anyway, especially a car that pulls up."

Homicide detectives say they have very little forensic information to go on right now.

So, they're need help from the public.

Sgt. Walker says, "What we need from the public is anybody that saw anything unusual in those neighborhoods around those times to give us a call, or if you know who the suspect is that would be the best thing. Go ahead and break down and do the right thing."

Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide tip line 918-798-8477.

Tulsa Police Sergeant Dave Walker tells KRMG that right now authorities don't have a link between the victims, motive, suspect or clues as to why these individuals were shot.

"Right now we have nothing but the bodies and the locations," says Walker.

If you have information about the series of shootings, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 918-596-COPS.

Five people were the victims of drive-by shootings early on Good Friday morning and three are dead.

Tulsa Police Corporal Dan Miller said the shootings began near 51st Place North and North Peoria "appear to be completely random, it doesn't look like they know each other, but there's that off-chance that these two could...know each other."

Miller says the first to die was a woman shot near 51 place north just west of Peoria.

Miller said the wound was so small, it took several minutes to find it.

“We looked all over and finally had to cut her shirt off to find a really small would in her upper left chest,” he told KRMG at the scene.

The woman was alive when EMSA and police arrived, but died later at a local hospital.

Witnesses told Miller that the first shooting happened about 1:05 a.m., followed about three minutes later by another report of a shooting about three blocks away.

“Just seconds after we were here on the first shooting we got the call that two men had been shot just across Peoria,” Miller added.

Miller said both of those victims were hospitalized in critical condition, but are expected to survive.

"We don't have a description of the shooter yet, but it appears just to be one person involved driving the vehicle. They pulled up to these people and shot them," Miller said.

Then an hour or so later, two men found their brother laying in his front yard.

They called police and EMSA and again Miller said, they had a hard time finding a wound “we thought it was possibly a cardiac arrest,” he said.

Once at the hospital, another small gunshot wound was found and the man died there.

Miller said the only help from witness reports was a meager description of the vehicle.

“It looks like it was a light gray Chevy, either Tahoe or pickup truck, we're getting two different ideas, fleeing the scene with a tail pipe dragging."

No one has been arrested.
