Escapee Caught (Tulsa, Ok) -- An escapee from the Avalon Correctional Center has been recaptured after leading Tulsa police on a car and foot chase. Police say 37-year-old Phillip Davis was behind the wheel of a car that sped away when they tried pulling him over for a traffic violation. The pursuit ended early this morning in the backyard of a home on East Seminole, when Davis took off running, leaving a woman and a two-year-old inside the car. Davis was corralled shortly thereafter, and booked on complaints including resisting arrest, eluding police and child endangerment.
