One of the prototypes for the U.S. Postal Service's new truck was spotted in Virginia.
Fox News reports that according to the website Trucks.com, the concept truck built by the company Workhorse Group, the only contender that’s all-electric, was seen zipping quietly around the city of Leesburg.
4 other companies are in the running to get the multi-billion dollar contract from the postal service, which is expected to announce the winner in early 2018.
The testing phase comes not a moment too soon, because the current Grumman model truck has been in service for 30 years now, well past its 24-year lifespan.
