Could former NBA star Dennis Rodman be the key to stopping nuclear war?
Rodman told the Guardian newspaper he knows what Kim wants from the U.S., but he said he'll only tell President Trump directly, saying, "I’ve been trying to tell Donald since day one, “Come talk to me, man ... I’ll tell you what the Marshal wants more than anything ... It’s not even that much."
Rodman has been an effective, though decidedly unofficial, American diplomat with North Korea, going there at least four times to visit.
He first met Kim in 2013, when he arranged a Harlem Globetrotters exhibition game there.
He describes Kim as “a normal guy” and says that their friendship is about sports, not politics.
