The former executive of several large companies intentionally drove his truck over a median, slamming into an SUV, killing Jason Timmons and his fiancée, Amanda Murphy.
Murphy was eight months pregnant when she died, the baby did not survive.
WMUR in Manchester, New Hampshire reports Robert Dellinger was charged with two counts of reckless manslaughter after the crash.
New Hampshire assistant AG Susan Morrell told the station Dellinger had argued with his wife over medication and left his home growing more and more upset.
"He was driving around, depressed and loopy," she began. "He saw the median and decided to turn into it."
Cops say Dellinger drove his truck over the median fast enough to send it flying off the other side.
He then collided with the couple’s car, cutting off the top and killing them. The New Hampshire medical examiner said the injuries were so severe they were “consistent with a plane crash.”
Dellinger has worked for giants like Sprint, Delphi, and GE, before leaving his last job with PPG due to health concerns.
A judge set Dellinger's bail at $250,000, an amount the millionaire has already provided to his attorney to ensure his release.
