Yet another Carnival cruise ship has been stranded

This time it’s was the Carnival Dream and it was stuck in port on the island of St. Maarten.

According to passengers "we are not allowed off of the boat despite the fact that we have no way to use the restrooms on board."

Another person on-board said it was just as well that they couldn’t use the restrooms because “there's human waste all over the floor in some of the bathrooms and they're overflowing."

The ship lost power and crews were working to get generators back online but the work was taking much longer than anticipated.

Carnival says the passengers will be allowed off the boat in advance of flying home so they can salvage at least a little of the last couple of days.

Just last month the Carnival Triumph (pictured) was towed for four days into New Orleans after it lost power at sea.

Like the cruisers on the Triumph these folks will get partial refunds and 50% off a future cruise with the company.
