18-year old woman killed in highway traffic crash

An 18-year-old woman died after she was hit by an SUV on Highway 169.

Three people were loading a disabled motorcycle onto a pickup truck when a driver slammed into them near 51st Street about 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

Tulsa Police Corporal Brian Collum tells KRMG that an SUV that was coming to the aid of the motorcycle rider "struck her and then drug her approximately 150 to 200 feet and she was killed instantly at the scene."

We're told that the driver of the SUV had a suspended driver's license.

Police identify the dead woman as Whitney Murrah of Tulsa.
