68-year-old shoots 22-year-old caught in bed with 63-year-old wife

The older man, who has Parkinson’s disease, told cops he woke up around 1:00 am Saturday morning and couldn’t find his wife.

Concerned, he went to their guesthouse to look for her.

That’s when he found his 63 year old wife sleeping next to 22 year old Stephen Chapman.

The husband used his cane to poke Chapman and tell him to leave.

Instead, the 22 year old began cursing the homeowner.

The husband then went back to the main house to call police and grab his gun.

Police told The Arizona Daily Star the older man then claimed "Chapman came charging towards him in a threatening manner."

So the husband fired a shotgun blast, hitting a wall and injuring Chapman’s hand.

Pinal County, Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu said “clearly, this young man should have heeded the warnings of the home owner to leave his residence and to stop sleeping with his wife."

Deputies caught Chapman and he was booked into jail on a single count of disorderly conduct.

It’s now up to the Pinal County Attorney's Office to sort out the details.
