A 90-year old Ramona, Oklahoma, man is hospitalized after driving his four-wheeler into a ditch.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol tells us Lyle Coldran was driving his Honda FourTrax 250 illegally on a county road about a mile west of Vera in Washington County Saturday about 5:29 p.m.
He told a state trooper that he had become distracted and ran off the roadway into a ditch and that caused the vehicle to roll over and land on top of him.
We're told Coldran was taken to a hospital in Owasso, then on to a Tulsa hospital where he was admitted with head and internal injuries.
Coldran was cited for inattentive driving.
The trooper said Coldran was distracted from outside of the vehicle.
