TULSA - She was a cheerleader and an honor student in high school, but apparently she didn't get along with her parents and moved out on her eighteenth birthday.
Now, Rachel Cannin of Linden Park, New Jersey says her parents kicked her out, and she wants them to pick up the tab for her college education.
She staying with a friend's family, and the father of that family is reportedly financing a lawsuit in which she's seeking the financial support from her estranged parents.
Her father is a former police chief of Linden Park.
Cannin is also seeking $5,000 for an unpaid high school bill, plus transportation, living expenses, and legal fees totaling more than $12,000.
