The six men pleaded guilty to being part of the plot that was meant for last year.
The men are Omar Khan, Zohaib Ahmed, Mohammed Hasseen, Mohammed Saud, Anzal Hussain, and Jewel Uddin.
They intended to attack a rally the English Defence League in England late last June.
The plan was to bring with guns, knives, and explosives and cause as much mayhem as possible.
CNN reports the problem occurred when the tardy terrorists showed up to find the rally was already over.
Police at the scene say the men and thought one of the bags they were carrying looked suspicious so they checked inside.
There they found two shotguns, knives, and an explosive device packed with nails and ball bearings much like the Boston marathon bombers used.
But that wasn’t all. The men also sealed their own fate with a note that referred to the EDL as the "English Drunkards League" and "enemies of Allah."
The message ended with “today is a day of retaliation for your blasphemy of Allah and his Messenger Muhammad."
