Work week brings lower than usual temps

Sun, May 21, 2017 — Temperatures are going to be running below normal in the Tulsa area this week.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Mark Plate explains.

“For this time of the year, the normal highs climb up into the 80’s,” Plate said.

However, this week, the Tulsa area will see highs in the mid and low 70s.  Plate adds we could see temperatures in the 80s by next weekend.

For reference, the average low for this time of year is right around 60 degrees.
