Woman takes deputies on a high-speed chase over a stolen check

A woman steals a check from a vehicle and takes it to the American Heritage Bank Tuesday afternoon.

Tulsa deputies say when Ramona Longwell tried to cash the check, bank employees called deputies.

Longwell didn't go quietly.

Deputies say she saw them pull into the bank parking lot and then she took off in her vehicle. This started a short high-speed chase.

Officers used stop sticks to catch and arrest her near Hwy 97 and W. 51st.

Longwell is currently in the Tulsa County Jail.

She faces multiple counts including eluding, false impersonation and forgery.
