Woman reportedly admits to abuse, child dies

Thu, March 23, 2016 — A woman has been taken into custody, following the death of a  2-year-old boy at St. Francis late Tuesday night.

Tulsa police report the toddler suffered from massive head injuries.

“It’s disturbing how people can do some of the things they do to children and think it’s okay or that they can get by with it,” police said.

Dominick Smith was taking care of the child at the time. Smith reportedly confessed to beating the child with a belt and giving him a half bottle of NyQuil.

KRMG's told the boy's mother, Keyshawn Brown and a man named Johnnie Jones are also with police.
