A man is stabbed during a domestic attack that sent a woman to jail.
Tulsa Police Sergeant Malcolm Stuart-Wightman tells us the attack happened about 11:04 p.m. Monday at the Cedars Apartments at 5400 East 12th Street.
"She ended up breaking plates over him and throwing a butcher knife at him and striking him with a cast iron object that might be the base of a lamp or an umbrella stand," Stuart-Wightman said.
We're told 45-year old Loretta Miles earned a trip to jail when she threatened police who responded to the scene.
"She was taken into custody and charged with domestic battery with a dangerous weapon as well as a count of threatening a violent act. After (police) contacted her she was making threats against the officers who responded" to the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
